Looks like 2014 is all about the photo of the tip in the NFL.
Former NFL wide receiver Chad Johnson recently photographed a huge tip he left for a waitress in Montreal. A tip for almost $301.
The problem with the tip? Johnson miscalculated the total amount of the bill with the tip included.
People went to social media to ridicule the former all-pro NFL star about his math and about the fact Johnson posted the photo.
In September Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy tipped 20 cents on a $60 bill at a Philadelphia restaurant. McCoy said he'd do it again if he received the same bad service he received there.
The restaurant posted McCoy's tip on social media.
So if you post your own tip it's considered a selfish tip-selfie (know your math) and if someone else post it, you're considered just cheap.
